My birthday was last Thursday and it was very nice. I took Thursday and Friday off from work and didn’t do too much of anything. Hubby went off to work and the kids off to school and I got to do whatever I wanted! I went to the mall and did some window shopping, I’m very good at that since I never want to spend any money!

Mom made me a dinner I requested and brought it over my house, along with a birthday cake. Dad gave me cash so I could go buy whatever I wanted, with one stipulation “You are to spend this on you, not the kids, not the bills”

Sunday my daughter and I went out to SHOP! I have to admit it was really hard to not buy stuff for other people. Erin is such a trooper, she hung out with me all day and did not complain once while I couldn’t make up my mind on anything. On the ride home I said to her “I feel guilty that we’re going home and I didn’t buy anything for you or your brother” She responds with “It’s ok mom, it’s YOUR birthday”.

1. A Birthday cake - I like to blow out candles.

 

 

2. Balloons - I like simple things.

 

 

3. Cupcakes - Great for my diet!

 

 

4. A coated cast iron skillet - I like to try to cook.

 

 

5. PJ’s from Pajamagram - I like being comfy.

 

 

6. Diamond hoop earrings - I also like pretty things.

 

 

7. Beautiful by Estee Lauder - I like smelly things too.

 

 

8. A TV for my kitchen - I LOVE TV.

 

 

9. A cleaning lady - Let someone else clean the house for once.

 

 

10. A new camera - I’m never happy with what I have.

 

 

11. Dinner at The Student Prince - I’ve already been promised this.

 

 

12. A trip to Mohegan Sun - It’s like another world there.

 

 

13. Cash - Who couldn’t use this?

 

 

In actuality, all I want for my birthday is for people to remember it and wish me a happy one
