Seven random things about me.

I was tagged by Melinda at Sweet Happenings to do “7 Random Things About Me” so I thought I’d give it a go.

1. I play video games when my kids aren’t home so I don’t have to share. I require lots of do-overs.

2. My favorite dinner is steak on the grill, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. But only if I’m cooking the steak.

3. I love ketchup, mashed potatoes, corn and ketchup all mixed together.

4. I buy celebrity gossip magazines at the grocery store and check out the websites daily. I think it would classify as an obsession.

5. I search the obituaries on the local newspapers websites for people from my hometown. I have found old neighbors, parents of classmates.

6. I’m tall with big feet and wish I wasn’t. I love shoes…Oh, to have a size 8 foot.

7. I believe I’m addicted to hand lotion and lip balm, I apply both several times a day. I have some at work, at home, in my car and in my purse.

Now it’s my turn to pass it along, I’m tagging:

Wordless Wednesday #11 - Decisions, decisions.

4 December

I signed up for PPP!

I have been approved for payperpost My friend (and fellow blogger), Maggie had found this great website and has been doing PPP for quite some time now. PayPerPost allows me to write reviews about an array of things such as websites, stores, products and services and they will pay me for it! I’ve been reading lots of blogs, thanks to my friend Maggie, and decided it looked like a lot of fun and wanted to give it a shot. I didn’t really know until just recently that you turn your hobby into a money-maker!

One of the requirements to be approved by PPP, your blog needs to be at least 3 months old. I just registered my blog on Thursday the 29th (the 3 month anniversary of my blog) and my blog was approved within 3 days. I can now start to participate in the wide range of opportunities provided by PPP.

This is my first PPP and already I have plans for the money I’ll make in the future (I’m very optimistic that I will make at least a little bit of money). We’re going to Disney! Even if I don’t make enough to cover the trip, I’m sure I’ll have a bit of spending money.

Another Thursday gone by…

Another Thursday and I don’t have a Thursday Thirteen to post.  I’ve been having some annoying internet issues at home and haven’t been able to do too much as far as my blog is concerned.  I do post a little here and there from work but Thursday Thirteens take a bit more effort.  I hope to have everything in working order by this evening and have time to peruse the blogs to read others T13 posts and maybe even be able to post a T13 before it’s Friday.

Oh, the woes. :(

Thursday Thirteen #6

Thirteen Slogans for my Blog.

As I mentioned in a post earlier this week, I’ve been tweaking my blog a little each day.

I’m trying to come up with a slogan for it, I thought I’d stick with the procrastination theme or go with my name. You may recognize some of the ones below. Feel free to share any thoughts or suggestions.

1. A Day Without Procrastination is Like a Day Without Sunshine.

2. Where Procrastination is a Pleasure.

3. Choosy Mothers Choose Procrastination.

4. The Lighter Way To Enjoy Procrastination.

5. There’s Always Room For Procrastination.

6. Procrastination Comes to Those Who Wait.

7. Never Knowingly Stacey.

8. I’d Walk a Mile for a Stacey.

9. Think Stacey.

10. Break Me Off a Piece of That Stacey.

11. All Stacey, All The Time

12. The Ultimate Stacey Machine.

13. Watch Out, There’s a Stacey About.

Please excuse my appearance.

Blogging is still very new to me so I’ve been trying to tweak my blog a little each day. I haven’t been happy with any of the templates I choose. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m almost never happy with anything I do so this may be a work in progress for quite some time!

Blogging failure

I started this blog in hopes to have an entry every day. Well, I’ve failed, as I do with nearly everything I set out to do.

Now that soccer is over and the warm weather has left us, I’ll have more inside time so I can peruse blogs, jazz up my own and become an upstanding citizen of the blogging community!
