A coworker is getting married in a few months and that’s ALL we’re hearing about. I don’t think I bored people as much as she has when I was planning mine. She complains about how much it’s costing but she’s going overboard with everything. There’s no need to spend hundreds of dollars on bridesmaid gifts and gifts for the groomsmen, especially when there are five bridesmaids and five groomsmen. I can’t wait until the wedding has come and gone, we’ll just have to suffer through all the photos once it’s over.

Since Tuesday’s Orthodontist visit, my mind has constantly been on money. How can I make more? Is it worth me getting a part-time to offset the extra expenses like school shopping, signing the kids up for sports, or Christmas shopping? I’m afraid of not being able to afford the necessities like car insurance, mortgage payment or even gas to get back and forth to work. I have always been a worry-wart when it comes to money, it’s just getting worse.

After my kids’ last dentist visit, my daughter was referred to an orthodontist. We had the orthodontist appointment on Tuesday and we were told she definitely needs braces. We were both hoping that the Dr. would say they weren’t necessary but they are. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the insurance doesn’t pay for much of it, we’ll have to add that to the list of things to put us in the poorhouse.

The WW picture below needs a little explaining. It was taken on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs, MA. Circuit Ave. is a very popular spot, full of unique shops and restaurants. Anything you need, you’ll find there. There is never a shortage of tourists, no matter what time of day.
We came across this lot for sale and can’t imagine what could be built there in such a small area. I was going to call to see how much they were asking for the lot but had forgotten, I’ll have to do it sometime soon. As with any property on that street, I’m sure it will be way more than I would imagine.

A friend of mine was extremely excited to tell me she just booked a room at a condo hotel on Myrtle Beach for dirt cheap. Very close to the water. That’s one place I’d like to go. They’re heading down for their 5th wedding anniversary to spend a week at the beach. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years already. Happy Anniversary you two!

A medical id bracelet is a must have for someone with a serious medical condition, drug and/or food allergies. You can engrave prescribed medicines and emergency contacts on the bracelet. In case of an emergency, the medical id bracelet can speak for you. Paramedics can take a look to see what medicine or treatment not to give you, what may have caused the incident (maybe a food or drug allergy) and notify your family.

I used to be a party person, always inviting people over the house for one reason or another. It’s never too early to plan a party, to be sure you get everything done. First you have to decide on a theme and then the invitations. Whether it be a Summer holiday, Halloween invitations or even Christmas invitations. Get them out early enough so your guests will save the date. Nothing worse than throwing a party and no one shows up.

I’m back from my mini-vacation on Martha’s Vineyard. One more day there would’ve been ideal, I just love that place! I went over on Wednesday and came home Friday. I had to be back in town for a wedding at noon on Saturday so I didn’t have a choice. The wedding was also a great time, they had a beautiful day for a party at the park.
We did lots of walking, sight-seeing and dining out. The house is centrally located in Oak Bluffs so no car was needed. One day we took a bus ride to Vineyard Haven (an area I hadn’t been to in years) and it poured off and on all day. Despite the rain we had a great time. Can’t wait to go back next year.
